Saturday 14th April – 9am-4pm Bunbury artists are invited to submit artworks with a “Our Rural Community” for display and judging at the LiveLighter Bunbury Show – April 2018. The winning painting will proceed to the prestigious Perth Royal Show Country Artists Award for display and judging alongside the winning paintings from other WA Agricultural Shows.  A prize of $150 will also be awarded. The second placed artwork at the Bunbury Art Show will be considered as a reserve entry, and attract a prize of $75. Saturday 8th April The South West Vaulting Challenge will be conducted by the RDA WA at the LiveLighter Bunbury Show. Vaulting is a performance sport and originates from Roman times, and is best described as “gymnastics and dance on horseback“. Vaulters perform compulsory and freestyle moves to music on a moving horse at either walk or canter. Competitors perform individually, in pairs or in a squad.
