The Butterfly Village is a joyful space for grandies of all ages, a comfort station for families and a play area for littlies at the Bunbury Show

Playgroup WA & Bunbury Playgroup, and the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) South West WA Group and have been involved with the Bunbury Show for several years, and this year we are welcoming visitors to our special space, now known as the Butterfly Village.

Chock full of intergenerational activities all day, there will be “have a go” opportunities and cool stuff for young and old.

A special invitation has been issued to The Fairy to attend during the day and assist with our story time and creating our very own giant butterfly wings, with sensory and active play for all ages.

The Butterfly Village is designed to be a relaxed family friendly area dedicated to Under 5s’s and those interested in Intergenerational activities.

You’re more than welcome to flutter in and around the Butterfly Village as you please, to play and interact with others.

Bunbury Playgroup

A Montessori and intergenerational friendly community run playgroup in East Bunbury, and an inviting, fun space to play, meet and make new friends.

A Bunbury Playgroup is a volunteer-led, community-run Playgroup, welcoming everyone with smaller children: whether you are expecting a new baby or are already parents, grandparents, and carers with children 0 – 5 years.

Sessions Available Term 2 2024:

  • Monday All Ages 9.30am
  • Tuesday Babies 9.30am / Tuesday Crawlers and Toddlers Lunch Play from 11am
  • Wednesday First 1000 Days – Pregnant – 6 Months 9.30am
  • Thursday All Ages 9.30am
  • Friday – Watch this space for an exciting new session coming in Term 2
