Saturday 14th April – 9am-4pm Bunbury artists are invited to submit artworks with a “Our Rural Community” for display and judging at the LiveLighter Bunbury Show – April 2018. The winning painting will proceed to the prestigious Perth Royal Show Country Artists Award for display and judging alongside the winning paintings from other WA Agricultural Shows.  A prize of $150 will also be awarded. Saturday 8th April – 9.30am – 4pm This year the South West Veteran Car Club will host its MAD ABOUT MOTORING event, which will excite the motor enthusiasts of all ages. Equine Events – 14th & 15th April 2018 We are starting to get things under way for the equine events at the Bunbury Show. We have an amazing equestrian event with 8 disciplines across 2 days of competition on a beautiful riding surface with great public exposure for our sport and our sponsors. Saturday 14th April, ALL DAY The Australian Breastfeeding Association – Bunbury Group have been involved with the LiveLighter Bunbury Show for a few years, and have again been invited to run a comfort station for families at the LiveLighter Bunbury Show in 2018. The group offers information and support in parents. Mothers are welcome to go along and meet new friends, chat with mothers who have ‘been there’ and connect with trained breastfeeding volunteers. South West Vaulting Challenge

Saturday 8th April The South West Vaulting Challenge will be conducted by the RDA WA at the LiveLighter Bunbury Show. Vaulting is a performance sport and originates from Roman times, and is best described as “gymnastics and dance on horseback“. Vaulters perform compulsory and freestyle moves to music on a moving horse at either walk or canter. Competitors perform individually, in pairs or in a squad.
